The RDP protocol component X.224 detected an error

I keep getting this message when connecting with a VPN connection to
the office and then RDP to a workstation.

The RDP protocol component X.224 detected an error in the protocol
stream and has disconnected the client.

The computer connecting remotely to has all the updates. The VPN is
using SonicWall Global VPN client(IPSec). The client machine
connecting into office is a XP with all updats.

Thanks for you help.

Are you, in fact, getting disconnected?

Is there any way you can try a different network path--perhaps a different
version of the VPN client, or a different form of VPN?

They are getting disconnected from the remote computer. It sometimes
will reconnect but usually won't.

Switch to using the PPTP connection in SBS 2003 and there is no more
disconnections.

It's a mystery why the IPSEC connection with the sonicwall doesn't work.
