The network connection could not be found

I am running Windows XP on Workstations and Laptops in a Windows 2003
Domain. While logged on, the drives that I have mapped through my logon
script always show up as "Disconnected Network Drives." However, when I
click on them, they open. I can't disconnect them by right clicking and
hitting disconnect. If I try it says, "The network connection could not
be found." I also tried to use the Net Use command and the drives don't
show up when I use it. I've tried Net Use */ delete and that didn't
work. Has anyone ever come across this issue? If so, did you resolve it
and how was it resolved? Any help with this would be greatly
appreciated.

I have actually resolved this issue. The drives were being mapped by
the startup script in the GPO. This causes the drives to be mapped
during the computer's startup. The drives were also being mapped during
logon by the logon script causing issues. I removed the startup script
from the GPO and restarted the PC. The drives now map correctly and can
be disconnected at will.
