TFT-Screen - very slow wake up after standby

Hi all,

until some weeks ago i've had a benq FP767 17 inch TFT as sole display at my
PC. It was connected to my ati x1600 pro by the "old" analog vga-output,
because the display doesnt have a dvi-connector.

Now i've bought a new 20-inch widescreen tft (Benq FP202 W), which is now
additionally connected to the DVI-Port of my graphics card. This screen is
now set up as screen 1 and the old one is screen 2. Both screens are
running fine in dualhead-mode (in windows and also in linux) except one
problem:

if the computer blanks the screens its all OK, but if it sends them in
standby, and i want to wake it up, the old display needs sometimes up to
ten(!) minutes to come back! There is a power LED, which is blinking all
the time (green) and strangely enough you can hear it! It sounds like some
kind of white noise in time with the blinking LED! In normal mode this LED
lights constantly in green, and in standby it lights constantly in yellow.

What can be the reason for this very slow wake-up-behaviour and how can i
get rid of it?

Thanks in advance, regards, Jens
