Terminal Services: Text/Console-Only? VNC?

Hi,

I like Terminal Services, but I'm wondering if there's any "text-only"
mode. Sometimes, over really slow connections, the graphical mode can be a
pain.

Also, I've heard mention of VNC supporting more than one user at a time a
la Terminal Services in the Windows Server family (from post
<[email protected]>). However, I haven't been able
to get this to work. Is this really possible?

Thanks in advance.

I've never tried, but I've heard it can be done. VNC is
not encrypted, so you'll want to use a VPN or a SSH
tunnel first.

Also, OpenSSH is available (http://lexa.mckenna.edu/sshwindows/) which
is a secure environment...
