Terminal server event log event id 111 and 1085

I'm running a test terminal server, fully configured by a loopback GPO. Last
week I tested the folder redirection option but found it was not what I
wanted, so I disabled it again. I have about 5 users that are piloting the
terminal server. When one of the users connects, the terminal server gives an
event id 111:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Folder Redirection
Event Category: None
Event ID: 111
Description:
Unable to apply folder redirection policy, initialization failed.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

followed by an event id 1085:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1085
Description:
The Group Policy client-side extension Folder Redirection failed to execute.
Please look for any errors reported earlier by that extension.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

This user did not connect to the terminal server during the period I tested
the folder redirection. This morning I removed the users local profile on the
terminal server to resolve some other problems I was having.

When you edit the Folder Redirection settings (at least in GP
Management Console), it starts with this warning:
Any existing redirection will continue to apply even when this Group
Policy object is removed. To ensure that the folder is redirected
back to the default location, select the "Redirect to the local
userprofile location" option.

And on the settings tab, there is a special section called "Policy
Removal", which let you choose between "Leave the folder in the new
location when the policy is removed" and "Redirect the folder back to
the local userprofile location when policy is removed"

I assume that you selected "leave the folder"?

"I assume that you selected "leave the folder"?"

Thats right!,

I will re-apply folder redirection for "my documents" and let it point to
the local user profile + configure it to also point back to the local user
profile after removal. Then I'll remove it again and see if it worked. I'll
let you know.

Thank you very much!
