TCP/IP Network Transport Protocol Not Installed

Error message when I try to load drivers for wireless NIC
or any other Network device.

The fix I have used is: Copied Winsock 1 & 2 from reg of
working computer and import into reg of affected
computer, this fixes the problem but happens everytime It
attempts to load any network device. What's going on??

Thanks

Try these instructions instead of copying keys from another machine. If
they don't fix the problem then you need to scan for spyware.

1. Backup and delete the following registry keys
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock2
2. Reboot
3. Go to the network connections folder, right click the icon for your
network connection, and select properties.
4. Click install, choose "protocol", and click "add..."
5. Click "Have Disk...", enter "\windows\inf", click OK
6. Select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click OK
7. When the process in complete, reboot

Sometimes it is the removal of spyware that breaks the TCP/IP stack.
There is a little utility called "LSPfix" designed to restore the chain
if spyware removal causes a break.
