I'll be working online, and suddenly the dreaded happens: Aol.com (Not
Responding)
Annoying, huh? So I hit Ctrl+alt+del, the task manager comes up; the screen
of the task manager is stuck on the section which shows me who is logged on,
where I have the option of sending a message to a user, or logging a user off.
Before you tell me to stop being a silly goose and just look at the top, you
can go back to the Programs List with the little tabs, let me notify you;
THERE IS NO HEADER ON THE T. MANAGER! Just like with every website, there is
that blue bar that will say something like Windows Xp Newsgroup- Microsoft
Internet Explorer, then go to the right and you have the minimize, maximize,
and X-out options.
I can't X out, minimize, maximize, anything. To shut the Manager I have to
hit the Esc button. When a website decides to be mean and not respond, I sit
there waiting for my computer to finish loading so that I can shut it. With a
FUNCTIONING task manager, I could just bring the screen up and hit end
program. So... how do I fix this?!?! If you know what to do, please email me
at (e-mail address removed)
It may take me a long time to respond as I don't check my mail often, but
ANY help at ALL is readily accepted and appreciated. Please DON'T JUST POST
ME A COMMENT! I will forget to come back and check it and your advice will be
worthless to me!
