Tablet PC laptop thingy

A friend bought one of these in japan and wants to install the engish
version of XP but apparently there is a tablet PC version of XP that MS
won't sell on it's own. Is there any way to get it?

You need to check with MS licensing but I think the Japanese license may be
valid for other regions, in which case all you need is the English media
kit (£25 from a certified MS reseller in the UK) You will probably be asked
to produce proof of ownership of the OEM license of the original software
(a copy of the OEM sticker on the machine may be enough)
