System32 folder opens upon boot up

I have purchased a new Dell 8300 with Windows XP
Professional. Somehow in configuring the pc, I must have
changed a setting because every time it boots up, the
Windows System 32 folder opens up. Not anything bad but
not necessary and I would like to make whatever change is
needed so that when I boot up the PC, this folder doesn't
open up. Any ideas or suggestions?
