What are the differences between the subject line processes ?? TIA

See this site by MVP Bert Kinney:

That will explain all about System Restore. You will need to clarify
what you mean by "System State Backup" (or ask your teacher) for that
part of your question. Usually imaging programs are used to take a
snapshot of the entire system, not just the portion covered by System
Restore.

Huh ?? Backup, advanced, backup, list of drives, last entry
"System State" with a checkbox. So, what is the difference between
backing up the "system state" and creating a restore point in "system
restore" ??

The System State files include the registry, certificates, COM
registrations, boot files, etc.

Restore points don't take all user data but do include the system state
files, while backups often do take all user data but don't include the
system state files. So the difference is scope.
