HP N5425 laptop continuesly receives NSNDIS5 NDIS Protocal Driver service
failed to start because the system could not find the file specified.

Is this a case for doing an XP repair or is there another way to restore the
necessary files?

Thanks for the reply Rick!!

There is a problem with the wireless card that gives a code 12 in device
manager. Is this an associated problem? Do I need to go to HP to get the
driver or where would I find the driver.

Yep, that's the problem. HP is one source, the manufacturer of the card is
another.
