Syncing between my BCM contacts and my regular contacts?

Since I can't sync my regular contacts OTA with my WM5 devices I was
wondering if there is a way of synching the data of my BCM contact info with
my regular exchange e-mail account contact info. That way I could get the
basic contact info on my WM5 device updated OTA and I could also access the
basic contact info using OWA.

Thanks

Right - but that does you no good unless you manually want to go through
this unpleasant process every evening. I was looking for a sync utility not
a manual export import process. I need an actual FIX from MS to resolve this
issue.

Thanks

boe,

As you certainly know, there is a huge difference between exporting /
importing vs. synching. The former is a 1 time manual overwrite process
whereas synching is an automatic, instantaneous means of keeping things
identical ongoing. Such a utility does not currently exist to my knowledge.
You are S.O.L. in this regard.

Additional comments:

This is not intended to easily play off of your obvious discontent but the
very nature of BCM's design is to force you to adopt an additional (separate)
set of data that can be worked with inside of the familiar Outlook user
interface. BCM's separate data however is much more limited in its allowance
for outside remote access as opposed to stand alone Outlook data. While BCM
is a few steps forward in the right direction its use requires a few steps
backwards in what you must tolerate with the trade off of more limited access
and sharing options. This trade off is entirely unnecessary in my opinion
and I wish someone would start to really get this simple idea. There is a
huge waiting game going on among serious users of this rudimentary add-in.
BTW, did I already mention "limited?" Silly workarounds are just so 90's!

Best regards,

I agree - but I have no idea of how to put a fire under MS to get it taken
care of.

There is nothing like yet anther outside, 3rd party developer solution to
come to the rescue in order to possibly fill in the gap of a solution that
really should not even by design be necessary in the first place.

GeniusConnect has auto. sync options?, you don't have to do it manually!
Once the Contact folder is connected to BCM database, you can schedule the
auto sync.

It is one time config, and you can import the .ini template so it is done in
minutes
