swap tables when more than one table is linked to primary table

I am using office 2007 and have linked a few tables to my primary master
table, and is working fine. Only problem is, that now I need to swap back to
a previious table that is still linked to the primary table, and i cant seem
to find any where on my menus on how to do this. Its not the same as office
2003 and quite frankly they have changed too many things and I dont like it.
But thats another story. If there is someone that can help, that would be
great.
thanks

I think you may be looking for the Linked Table Manager. It is now in the
Database Tools tab, slightly to the right of center.

thanks Arvin, but my Linked Table Manager is greyed out and wont let me use
it, so it must be somewhere else, any more ideas?

How do I check or change the permissions for the Linked Table Manager? As it
stills seems to be disabled.

Yes your correct, I'm talking about related tables and yes a subdata sheet.
So now that we got that straight, I still need to be able to swap it back to
the other sub data sheet. But thanks for your advice on the subforms, I
will look into it.
So if anyone can now answer my question, would be much appreciated.

thanks

That is different. Go to the design view of the table, then right-click on
the title bar and choose Properties. You will see the "Subdatasheet"
property, which might have "[Auto]" in it. click the down arrow and choose
the table you want.

That brings up to other issues:

1. Working directly in the tables should never be allowed for any user other
than the developer of the database, since there is no way to control what a
user can do there.

2. Subdatasheets greatly affect performance if there are very many records
in the database.
