Hi, i have a pc running windows vista.
I want to format the hard drive and want to know if i could install a genuine version of SUSE Linux
10.0

The short answer to your question is 'probably'.

But we'd need to know more details first, particularly your computer specifications.

Yes, you should be able to 'use' Suse Enterprise 10, however, as the Enterprise Edition is aimed at corporate users I would recommend you take a look at OpenSuse where you would be free of any payments. :)
