Successfully reducing size of .pst file

F

fkissam

I have a .pst file that is about 15 megs.

I have deleted several hundred messages. I have deleted all the
attachments. I have deleted just about everything. Then I emptied the
deleted folder. Then I used the COMPACT function within Outlook 2000. The
Explorer file size STILL says 15megs.

Has anybody found a successful way of reducing the size of this file? Is
there any 3rd party utility?

Thank you!

There's no third party utility that I know of....how many times did you run
compact? 15MB is pretty tiny - is there any reason you are worried about it?
