Subreport Total on Main - Doesn't see subreport

I am working in Access 2003 SP2. I would like to total the main and
subreport. I have already created one report that works fine. I have
followed the examples in the previous newsgroup questions, but my problem is:

If I create a textbox and enter one of the subreports into the formula, it
shows up just fine, but the other subreport returns a "Name" error. I've
tried this in 2 different reports. The spelling is correct as well as the
field name. Any suggestions?

Is the subreport in the same report section as the text box? Is the name of
the text box different than the name of all fields?

The subreport is not in the same section as the text box, but I can retreive
data from a subreport that isn't even in the report. The text box has a
unique name.

I have another report that works, so I copied the text box into this report.
It retrieves the total from the original subreport. Once I change it to the
new supreport, it gives me an error. I even changed the subreport's name and
retried it.

Are you using the subreport's name or the subreport control's name?
