Styles - Removal of Styles from "Styles in Use"

Hello,

I have created some new styles in my normal.dot.

My question is how can I get some of them not appear in the Styles Drop Down
list. They are in the section called "Styles in Use" but I only want them in
"All Styles"

At the bottom of that dropdown, click More, and at the bottom of the
Styles & Formatting pane, make the dropdown show "Custom," and uncheck
the boxes by the style names you don't want to show.
