Stupid question, creating MSI packages?

Okay there is always a starting point,

How can I create an .msi package of a programme I want to make available for
network users, what programme do I need to package it into a .msi

Look no furhter than your win2k server CD.
Wininstall le

its easy and free
start with a clean machine with the latest and greatest sp's and patches run
the discovery (before snapshot)
than install your programm reboot the machine.. then run wininstall le again
to take the after snap shot .. walla you have your .msi


apply your policies and you are off
