I cannot select any stationery in Outlook 2007 -- I have uninstalled and
re-installed and the install to install themes -I also have Microsoft office
2007 home Edition installed and the themes show up there. But in Outlook, it
says no themes installed?
I have searched this group but this particular problem has not been addressed!

If you go to Tools->Options->Mail Format->Stationery and Fonts and click on the Themes radio button, what happens?

I am having the exact same problem. The themes button is grayed out but I
know the themes were installed. I am running Outlook 2007 and office 2003.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook. I do see themes in Word but not
in Outlook.

Office versions must match with Outlook for this to function. Mixed versions will always lack compatibility with each other.

Milly - your answer is a cop out - I happen to have office 2007 home edition
installed as well. What is your next brilliant solution! Typical Microsoft -
never your problem - always the user eh?

Who do you think you are talking to??? I don't work for Microsoft so you might want to temper your responses.

My apolgies for thinking you worked for Microsoft! However your answer was
not very helpful since I don;t have anything installed from the office set of
programs other than 2007 versions. Your anser would have been far more
helpful if youi could of suggested a solution !

To use themes, you need a version of Office other than Home and Student, one that includes both Word 2007 and Outlook 2007. If you have a retail version of Outlook 2007 + Office Home & Student, I suggest that you file a support incident on this issue. This is the best way to let Microsoft know that there's a problem with the application. Unlimited support for Office/Outlook 2007 is free for the first 90 days after activation. See http://support.microsoft.com/gp/vista_supoffnew for more information on this support policy.

I found a solution for this problem, if anybody cares!
Open "Add/Remove Programs" by clicking "Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove
Programs (make sure you are in the CLASSIC view).
Find an entry of "Microsoft Office 2007", click "Change" button, after you
will get a window with two buttons "Install Now" and "Customize", click on
"Customize". After you click it, make sure the first tab is selected
"Installation Options". In there, the very last item is "Office Tools", one
before that one, is the one you need to expand "Office Shared Items", make
sure you have selected "Microsoft Office Themes".
After you press the "Install Now" button, it might or might not ask you for
the Installation source (CD, External Hard drive, whatever).
After that is all completed, you should have the themes installed!
Microsoft themselves helped me out when I faced this issue! If you have any
further questions regarding this particular issue, please REPLY to this post
or you can contact me at "(e-mail address removed)". Hope this will help!
