Standard VGA display adapter

Hi,

I am trying to install an ATI driver for my 23" Cinema
Display, but I am getting an error message saying:
"Setup was unable to complete the installation.
Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA
driver before running setup."

My question is: How do I setup the standard VGA driver?

Michal, WinXP comes with a Standard VGA driver. I would start over and
remove all the display software you have installed. Go to Add/Remove
Programs in Control Panel. You could also try removing the devices from
Device Manager.
Remove the display adaptor. Let WinXP reinstall the Graphics Card and
Monitor. Then try upgrading the ATI driver
from Safe Mode.
