spyware valid signature message

I get valid digital signature that verifies the
publisher". I used the alternate validation method and
after I run it, the same screen message comes up - what
does this mean? I have XP and Norton 8.5 and Spybot
installed.

You might try disabling real-time protection in Norton while you do the
download and attempt the install. In general, this message indicates a
corrupted download, I believe--so re-downloading is the fix I would
recommend. If repeated downloads give the same symptom, inquire of your ISP
whether they run a cache.
