Speed Up XP Startup

Mike

I read an article in WinXPnews that states you can change
the default value in the registry (EnablePrefetcher) from
3 to 5 and that will greatly speed up the start-up of XP.
I looked at my value at it's set at 2. Does anyone have a
comments on this?

Thanks;
Mike

The setting of 5, while rumored, has not been confirmed.
Setting of 3 is optimal, it speeds up boot and applications.
