Spam Blocker/Outlook Security

Does anyone know of a spam blocker that won't trigger the Outlook address
security warning dialog?

I've tried "Ihatespam", "Spamnet" and "SpamCatcher" and all have about the
same results.

Check out http://www.inboxer.com. I've been working with it for about 6
months (through the beta) and have been very impresssed. I use it in
conjunction with Outlook's Junk/Spam options and it catches so much more.
The Bayesian learning is impressive and works well. Curious to know what you
think.

Sue,

I'm on Outlook 2003, so I suspect it's more sensitive.

The message is "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have
stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"

Bruce

I've been using Spamnet a long time. It doesn't trigger security prompts.
Maybe you have some other program installed that does?

I believe this is the default security setting for OL. Its triggered when an
third party app tries to access yr email addresses, as many virus's do.
It has nothing to do with a spam blocker.
There is info at MS as to how to disable various security settings. Afraid I
dont have url for OL 2003.
I tust you have a AV app and its deffinitions are up to date?

You need to get the latest SpamNet version.

My OL has these security settings, but I have no problem with an earlier
version of SpamNet triggering the warning.

Outlook 2003 includes changes in security. The latest version of SpamNet handles those changes.

I'm 99% sure it's coming from the spamblocker for the following reasons:

1. We are running Exchange Server 2000 with AV
2. If I remove the spamblocker app, the messages stop happenening.
3. If I send a message to myself, it happens.
