Sound Recorder - How to record longer than 60secs

Hello

When I try and record audio from the Sound Recorder
application that comes with Windows XP it will only let
me record for seconds at a time.

Do you know if I can change this default time to a larger
amount of time?

If so how do I do this?

Thanks

I believe the built-in sound recorder only permits 60 seconds of
recording. You'll have to look for a third-party program if you want
something more.

Malke has the right idea. Search http://google.com for "sound recorders"

It is possible to recorder longer with Sound Recorder, by making a dummy
60" file, then editing onto it, but it's hardly worth the bother.
