Sorting by Last Name - Names From Outlook Contacts

J

Jim Scott

I've reset some things in Outlook and the
synchronization with my Palm Pilot.

Now when I attempt to send a fax and access the
address book, all of the names are sorted by first
name.

How do I reset this list so that it sorts by last
name?

Thanks,

Jim

This posting is for some other group. But here's what I have seen to work -
Tools->Options->Preferences->Contact Options and set this up there.

That won't affect the sorting in the Outlook Address Book, only the Contacts
Folder. He would have to use the method I posted to control the Outlook
Address Book.

Outlook 2003

I have Outlook 2003 running on windows xp and I have already gone through all the File As steps to sort my contacts in my address book but I still have a problem. When I go to start a new email and click [To..] to add a new contact I am unable to search or see contacts sorted by last name. Is there any way to solve this problem ?
