some help with a nice database program

hi was just wondering if anybody has and suggestions or help for me cheers

looking for-
i am looking for a very simple and easy database program ideally free.

use it for-
i am a teacher and i have many pictures (*.jpg and *.psd) and documents (*.txt and *.doc) that i use for teaching. what i would like is to sort these into a database. i would like to type in a few search queries (ex grade4 or english or egypt) then those documents that have been searched would appear in a list or something so i could then select them.

my system-
windows 7

just looking for something simple to use and free to down load. I also have access but it seems quite complicated to use for what i want.
if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

I suggst you may have to try a more speicalised database forum.

Either that or google your problem!

which is a free download from FileHippo.com (put Database Programs in the search box), a very reliable source which is used by some of the members on this forum, including myself.
