Software Explorer "Not Yet Classified" Classification

When first installed, Defender showed most startup apps as ok. Now they are
all showing "Not Yet Classified" in Software Explorer. This includes ALL
native windows components shown. Additionally, I get a constant nag screen
about blocked startup programs. There seems to be no way to add software to
the Allowed Items List; the helps offer no viable solution.
Questions:
1) How do I get the classification of known software to change.
2) How do I add programs to the Allowed Items List.

This thing is driving me nuts, the dang nag screen will not leave me or my
wife alone! :)

Windows Vista RC1

Windows Defender Version: 1.1.1505.0
Engine Version: 1.1.1603.0
Definition Version: 1.14.1720.4

Thanks guys.
