SMTP Virtual Server in windows 2000

I have web based application on IIS 5.0 Win2k Server.
The requirement is, there is need to send email through
this Application. How to configure correctly so that
from this application i can send mail to SMTP
Address?
And as i told this is error I am getting on server
mail failed: Could not access 'CDO.Message' object. SMTP
may not be installed or enabled on this machine.

This is web based application. I would definitely
like to know what is required if it can work through
ASP? please let me know what are the steps Involved
in this?
