Slow, slow, slow

I have created three power point presentations. Two of them have unanimated
slides and voice overs.

When I was in the process of creating the presentations and then viewing the
slide show, it clipped along at a nice, breezy pace. I would create a slide,
insert the sound file, set the slide transition and move onto the next slide.
When I had eight or ten slides set up, I would watch the presentation and
things were fine. At the end of pulling it all together, I watched the slide
show and both of these presentations moved along at the correct pace.

Now, however, when the presentations have been closed out and I call them up
two days later, the presentations run slow. I have adjusted the slide show
resolution and all that does is make the screen look terrible and continue on
at a slow pace.

What is wrong?

Thanks for help, as always.

ToferKing,

Sometimes you have to run the presentation a couple of times to get the PPT
to run smoothly. Question: are you now running the presentation on a
different computer?

Run it a couple of times? You mean, I have to pre run the program before I
can show it?

That isn't going to work!

I have three power point presentations that need to be shown one after the
other.

And yes, I am using a combination of two computers. I work on the slides
and the hand written narrative at work and then I do the voice overs at home
and drop them into each slide.

Which version of PPT? If it is 2007, do you have the drivers for a local
printer installed on both machines?
