Slow All Programs in Start Menu

Hi,

I have a really strange problem...then I hover the "All Programs" option
in WinXP's start menu my CPU goes 100% for about 10 seconds and then the
programs menu appears. This happens randomly. I don't have a huge
startmenu, only a few programs installed. I've tried several thing to
try to get rid of this annoying problem.

- Reset the sort order for the menu
- Pumping up the Icon Cache to 2MB
- Made sure there are no dead shortcuts
- No strange files in my start menu
- "Slimmed" it down to be small
- Even set the setting to control the SystemExecutive not getting paged
out (this can't) be the problem.
- Diabled my AntiVirus (Symantec)

Of course I have all the service packs and hotfixes.

Does anyone have any suggestion? This random "delay" drives me nuts.
