Sites And Services - Authentication

I have set up sites and services all seems to be working
fine apart from the fact that it I log onto a site I am
still getting DCs authenticating me from different sites.

What have I done wrong I thought that this was automatic.
I have assigned DCs as bridgeheads in sites where there is
more than one PC BTW

Please help

Have you created sites and associated subnets with the site ? Check in your
DNS server, that you have sites (inside _msdc folder) with SRV records
pointing to your DC's.

The servers are all listed in this area on DNS and also
all iterations of AD DNS (i.e. all the DCs in all sites).
