Similar posts.....but no answers yet on Remost Assistance..

I've seen quite a few posts on Remote Assistance and
Remote Desktop, but either it can't (yet) be done or
nobody has figured it out (yet).

OK...here's the question: Is there a way to remote
control via Remote Desktop or Remote Assistance WITHOUT
user intervention.

Sometimes you need to cleanly shut down a system remotely
and just logging them off or restarting is not an option.
Sometimes you just have to shut apps down manually.

THANKS!

A batch file with the following line in it will restart the PC and force
the closing of any applications that are open:

shutdown -r -f

Remote desktop doesn't need user intervention; remote assistance does.
