Silverlight 1.0

I have a problem with the silverlight update that came through a couple of
days ago, I installed it and restarted computer then I went to check for
updates after that and the Update for Silverlight was still there. I
installed this update within the last couple of nights about 4 or 5 times and
it will not go away from Windows Update Site. I do not think it is installed
it is not in my control panel or in programs either, so I downloaded
silverlight and tryed to install but I received an error that it could not
install on my computer, and something about the configuration and the OS and
IE browser. Thanks
