been thinking of upgrading my 32bit Win7 Pro, to a 64bit OS
If you have the DVD, then you have both the 32-64bit OS, it's all on the same DVD.
If it's a free upgrade available to all why do I need to make a reservation?
Is MS likely to be overrun on day one?
Duh, so they know who wants it and where to send it, presumably.
Hi, I have just upgraded Win 7 Pro from 32 bit to 64 bit.Nope, 32bit only!
Hi, I have just upgraded Win 7 Pro from 32 bit to 64 bit.
Cost approx £32 for disc from Nexsus Software (Amazon)
Hi Bigjay, yes that looks a good deal. I told you wrong because I got mine from ebay not Amazon but what you have found is slightly cheaper and is not Dell which is better.
I had some problems with the instalation and the guy at Nexsus Software was very good & sorted it out but looking at the Amazon (no Dell) deal, I would go with that.
PS I assumed you have checked that your machine is capable of running a 64 bit operating system?
