Shortcut keys slowdown

I use a lot of shortcut keys(Ctrl+Alt+?) to start
programs including MS office, but AntiSpyware's real time
protection slowed down response time. Now it takes more
than 5 seconds to start a program after I press shortcut
keys. Any way to solve this problem?

Maybe you need to do a disk clean up and defrag your hard disk, I use a lot
shortcut commands to open programs such as Word and Outlook and I have not
experienced any lack in performance, its also possible that additional
programs running in background are causing the performance decrease.

I did what you suggested, but still no luck.
I'm pretty much sure that AntiSpyware is causing the problem because
shortcut performance comes to normal if I disable real-time protection. Any
other suggestions?

Only suggestion is to continue disabling or uninstall MSAS until beta 2, if
beta 1 is currently impeding your productivity. But I am sure the MSAS Team
is looking into your query.
