shall I renew my NOD32 licence?

I've used NOD32 for a couple of years now.

Had a few problems;

Some viruses difficult to remove
No outbound email scanning
V2 uses more system resources

My question is - I've been trying AVG 6.0 Free version and now I'm on AVG
7.0 trial. Don't have any problems on my w2k system.

Should I stick with NOD32 or move to AVG 7.0. I've heard a couple of rumours
of possible problems with NOD32 lately, so I 'paused' before I renewed my
licence.

People say good things about AVG 6.0 (Free). But I can't seem to find many
reviews about AVG 7.0.

Thanks

Why would you need to scan outbound mail? Any virus that propogates via
e-mail uses its oewn SMTP server and doesn't use your mail client at
all. It used to be the case that they did but no longer.

Which is why modern anti-virus software scans e-mail at the protocol
level.

Why pay for something that another developer is offering for free.
Especially when it is just as good.
If you feel inclined THEN pay the FREE developer a donation.
