I regularly use many programs to keep my PC in good nick ;). 1st i'll run crap cleaner, then easy cleaner, then the windows disk clean up, then spy sweeper, then ad aware, then spybot search and destroy, then the microsoft anti spyware, then a virus scanner, then scan disc and finally defrag!

As for physical maintenance, i take me gfx card n sound card out and give the insides a good hoovering with the trusty dyson :).

Thumb & forefinger (why do they call them thumb screws?) ... to take the side off
Vacuum ... to clean inside. (carefully)

Defrag ... when I remember, usualy every other month.

err, thats about it ... any other programs update themselves and are running in the background anyway, although I sometimes check myself for updates.

oh ... I use EasyCleaner now-n-then, forgot about that one.

;)

Take a large sledgehammer to the side of the case.

Open first floor window.

Rip main unit from all cables, tearing and breaking a few.

In doing so, enjoy any random sparks that may occur.

Heave main uit from window.

(option to last instruction: check for pedestrians below window)

Watch main unit crash to pavement and explode into a million pieces.

Feel better, briefly.

Embrace realisation you have no computer and you just wasted about £1K.

Check out what's on the telly.

Cry.

Conservative? Me?

lol, lol, and even double lol

I'm about as Conservative as Aleister Crowley and Linda Lovelace rolled into one (do a Google) :D

As for re-cycling, I try, I do my bit, but it's not the most important thing in the world to me.

Things that really get my goat are fox hunting, hunting and destruction of rain forests, if we're talking leftie issues. But I really don't want to encourage a discussion on these issues, it'll end in tears.

And FWIW, I have shot a rabbit or two, and ate them. Ripping foxes to shreds with a pack of specifically bred hounds on the other hand...

OK, I'll shut up, I've said too much already... ;)

Hey, it was just meant to be a funnee :D

I try ;)

Aleister Crowley - dubbed 'the most evil man alive, subversive, pervert and gentleman of great charm'. In truth, a totally messed up individual. If you Google his name, you will get hits. Ever heard the expression 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law'? That's one of his.
