Server error: Cannot create "_vti_cnf".

I was wondering if anyone has evere ran across this error
or a similar error. Server error: Cannot create
folder "_vti_cnf". If anyone knows what this means I
would appreciate the help. I tried searching the
knowledge base and could nnot find anything even close. I
also searched through my files and folders that are being
uploaded and could not find anything named "_vti_cnf" in
them.

Are the folders you're talking about in a web.
Does your root or main folder have the "web" icon
or just a plain folder icon.
If a plain folder, in FrontPage right click on it
and select "convert to web"

Then publish.

If this is on a remote server, you need to contact your host to run a check
on the extensions for your account or check permissions.
