Sending Bulk emails

It is necessary for me to send bulk emails to members of the organization I
administer. The membership changes on a monthly basis, and our main website
maintains the current membership list and emails. I am able to copy and
paste the email addresses into the "To:" box, but when I attempt to send the
email it does not go because the individual recipients are not in MY Contact
list. How do I override this function? It is not feasible for me to
continuously maintain hundreds of contacts that change monthly! Any advice
will be appreciated.

1) Are you copying/pasting "pure" email addresses of the form
(e-mail address removed), or are you pasting things like "<[email protected]>" or
"John Smith <[email protected]>"? If you are using either of the latter,
try using the first example instead and separate them with semicolons ( ; ).

2) Keep in mind that by using the "TO:" field, each and every one of your
recipients will get to see the entire mailing list, including the email
address of every other recipient. I'll bet many of your membership will not
appreciate having their email address broadcast like this, even to persons
with a (presumably) shared interest in whatever it is that your group
supports. It is far better to put only your own address in the "TO:" field
and all of the others in the "BCC:" (Blind Carbon Copy) field. If the BCC:
field is not visible, click menu -> View -> All Headers while in a "New
Mail" window.
