"Send To Mail Recipient as attachment" fails

Here's the scenario:

I'm in IE
I click on a link to an .xls file (internal website)
The spreadsheet launches in Excel (so far so good)
It comes up Read-Only. (good)
I modify the document, i.e. fill out the form a little
I choose File, Send To, Mail Recipient as Attachment
A blank mail message comes up with the file attached (good)
I address it, maybe put a message in the body

When I click the Send button, nothing happens.

Oddly enough, double-clicking the send button seems to work, but I can
hardly ask people to double-click a button in Outlook, eh?

I appreciate any insights anyone can provide.

Thanks,

Harry

Does Alt+S work? When certain programs are installed (no one had identified
which ones exactly, but some Adobe programs seem to cause it), the send
button doesn't work but the keyboard shortcuts do. Sometimes a double or
multiple click on the button kicks it in - other people could click forever
and it won't send.

One click may work fine on someone else's computer - there is no way to
identify whether it will or won't beforehand.

Nice work! Thanks.

I had Photoshop 6.0 running when it failed. I closed it, and now it
works. However, reloading Photoshop 6.0 didn't cause it to fail, so
there's something a little squirrelly happening here.

Thanks for the insight. My procedure appears to work reliably on our
standard workstation.
