Send new message launches configuration for Office 2007 over and o

Each time I create a new message and hit the SEND button, I receive a popup
window that says "Please wait while Microsoftware configures Microsoft Office
Standard 2007" and it appears to be gathering information and possibly
installing something. This will occur 1 3 times right after another when I
hit the send button in a new message.

When I hit the Send/Recieve button or poll mail automatically, if a message
is found on the server to download, again this same window pops up and
gathers information to configure Office 2007 Standard. If there are no
messages to download nothing happens. If there are 50 messages, it will
launch this process for each every message before they are downloaded.

I have uninstalled Office completely, reinstalled all components to be
available, removed all PST files, started with a blank PST file, removed all
email accounts, all rules, and ran the repair function. This is a new
computer running Vista, no other version of Office has ever been installed on
this computer.

If I go to the Help menu and check under Disabled Items, outlvba.dll is
listed here. Do not know if this could be the cause. I would just like to
be able to download 10 mail messages in less than 10 minutes!

I have no problems using Word or Powerpoint or any of the other functions in
Outlook - calendar, to do etc. The problem only appears to occur when
messages ae sent or received.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to resolve this problem?

I am having the same problem. I am also running vista, its a fresh install
not an upgrade and office 2007 in outlook is doing the same thing.
I get the configuration for office 2007 message whenever I open an office
program also.
I am also having problems opening office Groove 2007 it says it stopped
responding and closes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I'm experiencing the same problem.
But in addition Office starts the configuration wizard each time i
open any Office application or Office document.
I'm running Windows Vista, and Office 2007 Enterprise.

I've tried reinstalling, repairing half a dusin times but still no
change.

I have actually called microsoft and opened a ticket with them. After a week
of being on the phone with them 6 hours a day, they have not been able to
repair the problem. Later today I am still expecting to hear back with them.
They have captured some information from my machine and are working on the
problem. They have informed me that this is a problem they were not aware of,
and they are attempting to fix the problem. I recommend, if at all possible,
to call microsoft tech support. You should have received a limited amount of
support when you purchased the product. They can capture your information as
well, the more information they have, the easier it should be to repair the
problem.
I would start with the the technical support numbers on your software or
call 1-800-936-5200 and let them know that you are having a problem with your
office 2007 and they can direct you to the right place. I have a case number
with them but I am not sure that I should post that here. My problem is
happening in a vista64 environment. My office 2007 is also 64bit. Does that
resemble the other information here?
Thanks,
ladyzylo
