security center wont load /open updates fail

i hav over 300 various updates that has failed,my pc runs fine but i cant up
date.i do not know when this occured. what can i do?thanks alot

This doesn't really make sense. Try this URL for updates:
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

Also are you trying to update Windows or another program?
Are you trying to get into Security Center? Its path is:
%SystemRoot%\System32\wscui.cpl
