Scripted homedrive and homedirectory settings NOT effective

R

Wrote a VBScript to set the homedrive and homedirectory
for a list of users, and although AD Users & Computers
shows the values have been changed when the user logs on
he doesn't get the drive mapping. If from AD Users &
Computers you select the homedirectory and paste it back
and then select apply, it does map. The share and folders
exist prior to setting the values.

I worked on a case just like this a while back. The value won't
populate and create the correct settings and folders with security
unless the apply button is pressed. Just populating the entries
won't be enough.

Thanks for the reply. So although I set the values
through VBScript, then execute SetInfo, and although the
values are populated, it is still required to go through
the GUI and select Accept?

That would seem to defeat the purpose of scripting.
