I recently updated from Windows XP Home to XP
Professional. My Mustek 600 III EP Plus Flatbed Scanner
worked fine with XP Home but will not install with XP Pro.
I have the latest updated files from Mustek but I keep
getting the message: Error! Scanner is out of control.
I have installed and un-installed the software several
times including removing all traces of the scanner driver
from the registry. I have an Iomega ZIP Drive plugged
into the back of the scanner and it works perfectly. I
have gone into the CMOS and made sure that EPP was turned
on. All my other hardware works perfectly. Windows XP
Professional was a clean install on my hard drive. I have
written emails to Mustek but they don't answer back. I
don't think they care. Any ideas out there. Thank you.
