Scanner installation problem

I cannot get my HP 4570c ScanJet to work with XP.
It works with Windows 98 and 2000, but not XP.
I have contacted HP and Dell - no solutions. Can anyone
help me out?

most such prob's are 'driver source' - so
1/
double-chk hp driver site(s) for latest dtd driver(s)
2/
since it worked on win 2000 - if all else fails
then try using the win 2000 driver(s)
note
it's done w/printers quite often
and
take it fr there
