Scanner and Camera Wizard

I prefer using the microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard
to download pictures from my SOny digital camera. The
wizard file, miaacmgr.exe, is in the system32 directory.
This program has worked fine in the past but now fails.
When I tuen on the camera the a dialog box opens to ask
for the desired option, one of which is the Sanner and
Camera Wizard. When this is selected noithing happens. If
I launch the wizarddirectly (from system32) it only finds
my scanner... no camera is shown. The USB port is working
and I can connect to the camera and download images using
Dell's Image Expert. I am running XP Pro.

How can I restore the camera function for this
application?

Try using System Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this
began. Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
