Save delimited format, specify delimiter, remove quotes from text

It would be nice if Excel had the ability when saving a delimited text file
to be able to specify the delimiter, and whether or not you wanted a text
qualifier such as double quotes around the text. This should be available
from the workbook and accessible through VBA.

This may vary depending on whcih version of Excel you are using.

I know that you can save Excel into a delimited text file based on comma,
space or tab via Save As.
