Runtime Error! - Can't install any new programs...

Hello:

Anytime I try to repair a piece of SW or install (even Windows updates) I
keep getting the following error:

Program: C\Windows\system32\msiexec.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more informaiton.

I think I may have a corrupted version of Windows Installer but not sure how
to reinstall it.

Any ideas?

You're in luck!

Click on this link below to Download Windows Installer 3.1!

This will reinstall msiexec.exe

Before you install it however - it may be recommended to open your
C:\Windows\System32 Folder, and rename the Current MSIEXEC.EXE to MSIEXEC.old
, then install the New Windows Installer 3.1
This keeps a backup of the older Executable - just in case -

It's a good habbit to get into.
