Rotate text box

Greetings
I have a need to place a merge field at a differing angle
(90 degrees) to the rest of the page. Is it best to put
it in a text box and rotate it? If so how please? Am
running Word XP
Tks

You need to put it in a table cell (without a border if necessary), not a
text box. You can rotate text in a text box via the text direction on the
right mouse botton when the cursor is in the cell. The chances of a merge
field working correctly in a text box are slim.

Oops! That should have read "You can rotate text in a cell ..."
