Rostering Spreadsheet

I was trying to set up a spreadsheet rostering system for my work. With a
common pool of workers spread across four stores, our biggest problem is
rostering people simultaneously at two stores (I know thats lame: but at
presents its prepared with paper and a ruler).

I was wondering whether there was some way to formulate a spreadsheet so it
would automatically register if their is a rostering conflict.

At present, I've got around the problem by having a double set of rosters. I
enter the data on the first, and the second registers whether there is a
conflict between any particular dates (i.e. the same set of intials rostered
on the same day.) However, this is somewhat cumbersome. Is there any way to
achieve the same result in a single set of rosters?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Creat one table for all employees; use Filtering (whether Auto-Filtering or
Advanced Filtering) to acheive/extract desired records. Also perhaps a
Column for Default StoreNo and Another For Current StoreNo would be
helpful/surfice.
